Connected?

So I currently have the following Social Media connections:

 

 

 

Now is this too many to manage? Add in Flickr ( which is in theory a social media site as well ) along with this Blog and I am pretty much attached to the Internet in every possible sense.

Does it mean anything? Not really, it's easier than keeping a scrapbook.

Am I am better person for doing it? Not sure, ask me in 10 years time.

Do I control the content? Yes, and I always have ( and that is were most people go wrong )

Shouldn't I have buttons on this blog so you can follow and re-post articles? Errrr yes, but that would mean I would have to start the rebuild of the site and I've been putting that off for ages.

Should I follow you? Why not?

Privateer Geoff Waugh Signature Model

This last week I've mostly been working at the highlight of the UK Photography Calendar Focus on Imaging . Along with talking shop with lots of nice camera type folk, it's a good place to catch up with legends like the young Mr Geoff Waugh who I have the pleasure to say I 'work with' ( rather than follow around like a scary stalker ).

I'm sure it was just a ploy to get me to send him over some of the new camera kit I've been playing with, but I was rather stoked when he handed over a copy of the new Orange Bikes 2011 brochure ( which actually has a picture of me in it ). Nice cover boys!

But this was not the end of gifts....he handed over a copy of the 2nd issue of the kick ass Privateer Mountain Bike magazine ( which features shots he took of the Orange Factory ). Naturally the geek side took over and he kindly signed it for me.

What a guy!

The verb to Twit?

I've been watching it for a while with interest, but it was a combination of Graham Linehan and Chris Moyles which finally pushed me into setting up a Twitter account.

Not sure what to make of it yet, I know it works better if you have it on some sort of portable device ( otherwise you are always updating the world on something you have done or are planning to do away from your computer ). But hay ho, got to be in it to win it!
